all ginger i laid

soft-hand down to scrape its juice

to rusticate shrimp

*(Scraping the juice out of a freshly cut ginger stalk over the just-shelled and kosher-salt and fresh-ground black pepper seasoned shrimp, strung on shaped spears of lemon grass for a few seconds only of sear above the orange-glowing through white ash coals of small logs which sometimes emit blue flares of escaping gases on the firepit, with the lemongrass trimmings adding a further blaze. A light drizzle of garlic-flavored extra-virgin olive oil just before a watery mouth-plop!)
