“Eat Tail-End First!”

(November 11, 2018)

the unshelled shrimp bit

at the tail end will taste best

than the fat front end*

*(Those hobbled by sensibilities might insist shelled shrimp much better, but they were not at that particular shrimp-roast, where shell-on crustacea came prepared to play.  Oh, sure, you could pull the legs and their transparent segments off easily, and if you insist: pinch the tail end first and pull the last two segments away and the sticky parts will remain.  But grilled salt-n-pepper shrimp are meant to be eaten entire! Crunchy! Tasty!
