  1. God does not like a braggart…I have to use an ethnically-derogatory term for land-mine detector to find my un-tinkling (because the one ice cube already melted) glass of vision. Oh, please, save me as my pre- and suffixes splash around trying to gain some attention as we circle the edge of our crystal pool – and the lifeguard’s gone back to here keyboard! Words should have to prove they can swim before being allowed past their knees! And I am a still-registered Senior Life Saver (or or, but never ior!) who stinted at times professionally as such. So, there! Mizz Smarty Words! I’ll getchewyetdearie!

  2. I jess hates that phrase from one who has so antagonized another with a hook in one hand and a squiggly worm in another…and, behold, both hands are me-attached and at seven I had yet to connect that worm’s greasy demise with the fresh fish fried for my plate and palate. We have a kind of cornmeal “dodger” fried in lard after it has been amended with minced onion and mayhap a shred of garlic and some hots added called a “Hush Puppy.” Used to be tossed to the salvering dogs surrounding the woodsy campfire where the fish, potatoes, swamp cabbage (palmetto hearts in chicken broth with onion, garlic and suchlike tossed into a bubbling pot) and meant to quiet canines as the men – and boy – folk got serious about eating away from wimmin! Only problem was, the original term had a comma separating “Hush” and “Puppy.” Now it a nearly defunct name for a kind of browning brushed leather footwear. Still sans comma. I am a Spanish laird in search of faulted commas which I hoist before spinning water pump wands in futile attempt to thwart yet another “courseyawill.” Thanks, Shehanne, I giggled (originally typed “gibbled”) between guffaws whilst typing the above. Stay safe on your roads: if they are like ours you are not allowed to shoot offending fellow motorists – even if you can present visually recorded evidence so doing would most definitely improve The Breed if not act as strong example for the unshot!
