Everytime I come across a scrap of paper, a toothpick, a leaf – so a pebble is metaphor or perhaps meta-five? – for long lost or ignored “markers” I term the scrit-found works “petrified,” though some of the earlier – and yes, I must admit more recently recovered musings and muse-lings – petrify me with possible inclusion in a manual of How It’s Not Done or Guffaw This! So glad I got a chance to ‘splain that.
