“The Morn Before The Cold Front Comes” Tanka 465

Dusty-brown and biege

this midmorning clouds drift* by

on their way to Sea.

Harbing(er) two rounds of rain

and almost chill so welcome!

*(originally “…clouds come by” in the haiku.  Which? I like the nature of “drift” in this first appearance I have seen this year of that dirty-almost brown appearance in the pillow clouds pulling across from the West (Left) Coast of Florida en route to New Smyrna Beach and the Kennedy Space Center further South.  May even bust 60 degrees tonight and not flirt with daytime 80s for several days – oh, calloo, callay!)
